Anonymous Glossy book launch TENT 2017

The Anonymous Glossy project is an artwork in the guise of a luxury glossy magazine. It is based on conversations Efrat Zehavi held with strangers in various public spaces in Rotterdam. She modelled their portraits in clay and wrote stories about those encounters, placing anonymous people in the spotlight as if they were celebrities. Subjects like origin, migratory family history, social conditions and feelings like frustration, uncertainty and disappointment played a prominent role in both the conversations and the book.
